Ima has been a Research Assistant working with Last Look Back Project since 2011. Ima is a proud Waorani. Ima named one of his children “Douglas” after Dr. Douglas London, a demonstration of a decade of friendship Dr. London with Ima and the Waorani people. Ima is a leader of the Waorani people and was even offered a scholarship as one of the first Waorani ever to attend university.

  Ima and a team of Waorani have helped Dr. London plot the Wao Paleo Diet throughout all the seasons. canoeing and macheting the way through the rain forest.  Ima has helped bring this treasure of dietary knowledge of the rain forest ecosystem for all of humanity.
